5. How about my favorite liberal musician? Neil Finn. For sure.
He's a kiwi so I can't say he's a Dem really. But I know he's a liberal and I love him for that and many other reasons.

Billy Bragg is a great one too.

17. Not really a Dem, since he's Canadian, but
I totally dig Bruce Cockburn. His music, especially hearing his perspectives on Latin America among other things, helped spark a leftward shift in my formerly right-wing politics. His songs speak to so many aspects of life and injustice, he's brilliant. And you should see him play live...the man is a scary good guitarist!
