5. Today, I was rudely (and dangerously) cut off by a Mercedes

convertible--IN A SCHOOL ZONE--which I then noticed had a pile of medical tags on it indicating that the driver/owner works at our local hospital (or at least gets to park free there). S/he even had a little "be an organ doner" sticker on the bumper. All I could think was: hope you signed your ODC, fucker.

Not sure that quite beats your example, but 'supreme asshole' would be a fair characterization of Dr. Mercedes, I think.

8. Those cars are tanks. In a way, I want one.

It was the idea that s/he had material on his/her car boasting an ostensible care for those injured in automobile accidents, and was also ostensibly a medical professional. Not that this garauntees a person will be a decent driver (all the docs I know drive like bats out of hell) but I would think someone touting ORGAN DONATION would make an effort to be a little less...homicidal?

7. With my beloved being severely handicapped, this is the norm

I no longer make a fuss (I used to confront these dickheads). We take a picture ( I have a wonderfully tiny Polaroid 3.2 MP with a belt pouch) with the date and time stamp, we print it and she signs a complaint that she could not park and mails it to the town traffic bureau.

We are the proud initiators of dozens of $100-$250 tickets.

10. On a similar note......

I live in a smallish town where most corner stores have sizeable parking lots with plenty of parking spots. Almost without exception when there is car sitting smack in front of the door it is a middle-aged white man in a SUV or some such vehicle who for some reason finds himself above the rest of us. Meanwhile we have to work our way around his vehicle to get into the store while inhaling the fumes from his running engine. It really pisses me off.
