Pics from last night's DU Gathering

Mike Malloy and the owner of the establishment, George Nikas. I understand George is also a minister, and provided the nuptuals at Mike and Kathy's wedding.



Ok, from left: MGKrebs, Mike, Mr. Cottonbear (Norbert), Kathy and Cottonbear.



BurytheHatchet, Mike, Marty, Kathy and Kaliph. BTH met these gentlemen at the Coretta Scott King memorial that was held at Ebenezer Baptist Church.



The two gentlemen in this pic are fans are Mike, and are not DUers. They heard about the gathering from Mike's broadcast and decided to join us. I forgot their names - I know the one in the red shirt is Jeff and both guys are funny as hell :D


RubyDuby in GA et al. Ruby will soon give birth to another talented, good looking liberal :D On the end is MGKreb's wife, Casper.

The gentleman on the far right is Doni in Georgia's husband. Sorry we didn't get a pic of Doni.

A special thanks to Michael Freedman for taking this pics and emailing them to me. Michael is another Malloy fan who learned of the gathering from Mike's broadcast, and showed up to meet everyone.

Michael wasn't fast enough to catch me, as I was busy flitting around like a social butterfly, running my mouth ad naseum :D

This is a great group and I feel so lucky that I get to hang out with them. We certainly encouraged the Malloy fans to join us on this site. The one taking the pictures, Mike, is a sharp guy and would be a definite asset to DU. I didn't get to talk to the other two :(

By the way y'all, Casper and I can be found most every Friday night at Fox and Hounds on Collier Road, usually with a couple of Yellow Dogs and sometimes a gay person or two, ocassionally the President of the Cuban-Jewish Estimators Society of America, and even a Democrat from Cobb County of all things! A happy hour kind of thing.
