Everybody wants to get a massage, but all it does is give people a temporary state of bliss and relaxation. It's not like massages are lasting. They ALL END eventually... so why bother?
Why can't we just massage ourselves the way we see fit?
Sometimes it is the only way to get my muscles loose though. I gave my husband a gift certificate for a professional massage for Christmas a couple years ago. Despite wanting me to give him massages and me not doing a good enough job, he did not redeem his gift certificate. He said that he would feel weird about getting massaged by another woman. A married male friend of ours was also given a gift certificate by his temperary construction job employer as part of the pay. He didn't feel comfortable getting a massage either. Are many married men like that? In my case, it was even clearly my idea.
14. Massage is really good for blood circulation -- hence speeding
a healing process. It is also a loving gift to give your body. Anybody who rejects massage probably has issues about being touched (i.e. cannot distinguish massage from sexual touch).
