The vet was impressed by the condition of my forearms, they aren't full of holes.
He said he would like to clip her nails but I file them instead.

12. Yes, she does. I fed her formula for the 1st two week. It was pure hell!

I was scared to death that the mix would be too hot or she would overeat. I was so glad when she finally started eating solid foods, I had to teach her how to drink water. Momma Is Right!

Yes she is gorgeous, no feather picking, no bald spots. That in itself is a major accomplishment. And the reason the vet wasn't at all happy to hear that I'm going to leave her home for a month this summer.

16. I'm planning a cross country trip.

She will be taken care of by my two house mates in her own home. I've traveled with her for years but it would mean driving my big pickup truck if she is coming with me. She needs a cage and her play gym plus not all motels will accept pets. If there is any problem at all I'll park at the nearest airport and fly home.

Which you should take as a compliment because he was the best person I have ever encountered in any of the medical or medically-related professions. I had him as my dentist when I was very young and, because of his bedside manner, I'd actually ask my mother if we could go to the dentist more often because I loved it so much! He was just the greatest dentist a young child could ever have hoped to have
