Bitch about team Canada here

Fucking bums, this was the most lack-luster effort I've ever seen a Team Canada put forth. Fucking bastards. They figured since they won the last olympics and the World Cup and every other friggin' tourney that they had this wrapped up. They didn't even try.
I mean we get beat by Switzerland, can't score against the Finns, BARELY win against the Czhechs... and can't score against Russia, meanwhile that ass BErtuzzi is in the box giving them a goal.
Fuck em.
I knew from the beginning Gretzky fucked this up, this was an old boys club, there were guys not on the team that should have been, Spezza for one. It's a joke.
I'm more embarrassed than anything, if they had these results but had play hard fought hockey I would have been cool with it. But to go over to Italy, where many of the locals were cheering for Canada, and put out a performance like that is sad, I'm fucking ashamed.

At the beginning, I was cheering for 1) Canada, 2) Finland 3) USA and 4) Kazakhstan. Thank God I'm of half-Finnish descent, or I wouldn't have a team to root for anymore.

I pray that Finland wins its first gold. They're playing like superstars lately.

For some reason this team did not mesh as a team. On paper they sounded great, but for whatever reason, they did not come together as a team. I can't remember that happening before with a Canadian team, but there's always a first time. I feel sorry for them and for Gretzky. They tried, but it didn't work. IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.!

Canada or USA. I'd have to say the USA sucks more because at least Russia is an actual country with nukes and everything. But Finland? How would we know if it disappeared off the face of the globe tomorrow? There'd be a few less cell phones around, that's all. :-)

Any chance we could get the two groups of North American choke artists together to play for the Rusty Tin Cup Medal or something?
