Doggies Need Love Too

They don't ask for much, just love, a bowl of water and some food,
and maybe a few play toys that can be cuddled and chewed.
They offer love regardless of your looks, bank account or name,
they do not care if you've very little to offer as a claim to fame.
They just wag their tails, lick your hands, and snuggle near,
they guard you through the day and night, so you've not to fear.
Their not just our puppies, but our friends, who'll love us till life's end.

I love you my big honey bear Maxie. Happy Valentine's Day.

For all the dogs and dog guardians out there this is for you. Hope you get lots of doggie treats for the four legged beasties and chocolates for the two legged ones. ;)

She's got a great personality. She is definitely a sweetie. She was using one of my "Sylvester" slippers as a pillow last night. I couldn't get to the camera in time to snap a shot of it though. She moved as soon as I did.

11. Somebody brought a couple of Newfie puppies to work today.

They were 8 weeks old and enormous -- and a couple of the cutest critters I've ever seen; soft and fluffy with huge webbed paws. And I'm a cat person.

are precious. So are Burmeese Mountain Dogs. A friend of mine had two and they were so big yet so fluffy and so gentle.

She is only sweet when she is sleeping. The rest of the time she is a whirling dervish of puppy destruction. It is really cute but sometimes maddening.
