I didn't burn the place down or anything - I didn't even burn the soup. Luckily, it had a lid on, so it didn't all evaporate.

but did spoil the cakes. Glad that the soup's still ok though...we'll still allow you to keep the "Great" title.

9. We used to call that "Chef Blackout"

usually alcohol was involved. It only happened twice (I was not the culprit in either case-but I slept through one of the fiascos). One was a pizza which got charred to a carbon black--but you could stil ee the individual pieces of sausage and pepperoni.

We hung it on a wall. It was a great decoration, and quite the conversation starter--until an aquaintance did not pay it the proper respect and knocked it off the wall and broke it. :cry:

We used to talk about charring pizzas deliberately and making clocks out of them to sell at Dead shows! ;)

You don't even wanna know about the salmon episode--it took DAYS to air the apartment out after that!

10. I fell asleep while boiling water once.

The teflon pot had turned blue and white. For about two weeks it felt like someone was sitting on my chest.
