How has "The Princess Bride" affected your life today?
I've referenced it twice in posts this morning. Wait, no, now three times.

1. That's a deep and resounding question...
I must reflect on it.

25. You keep using that word
I do not think it means what you think it means.

5. I read the book sometime between 1982 and 1986
while in undergrad school... I realized immediately that it was a rare find, and managed to spread the reading of it over two weeks, instead of the usual day. Surprisingly, the movie was just as good as the book (rare). I like the quote " I don't think that word means what you think it means".

11. Wasn't that sort of Bush's rationale for invading Iraq, except of course
that Hussein didn't actually kill his father?

I used it in my "favorite movie quotes" in my profile:
"You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you."
"You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die."

(the others were from Raising Arizona and Babe)

20. Well, I served Mandy Patinkin...
I loved the movie. I thought it'd be nice to serve him. Went way over and above normal service and he didn't tip (though there was 15% on the check) anything for the extra nice service.

Asking if the BLT is not the best breakfast sandwhich.

I was <-> close to praising a good MLT where the mutton is nice and lean, just melts in your mouth.
