Lost:: Am I the only one who
Doesn't care for the tailies? I don't think there is one new cast member I like.

Plus I have hardly seen any of my Sawyer dude since they came on.

I think TV Guide said he is going to be on in a flashback episode based on him soon. It is about dang time.

Am I the only one who has excuse the pun, "lost" some interest in Lost since they added the new survivors?

Most people on other boards seem to like them, I just resent them for taking time away from the original cast.

1. Mr. Eco is kind of a bad-ass.
Ana-Lucia is annoying.

I think Hurley and Libby are cute, but something has been bothering me since the last episode.
Libby and Hurley were talking, and she said that Hurley stepped on her foot while he was getting seated.... well that would mean she was IN FRONT OF HIM on the plane, NOT behind, at tail end of the plane. Unless they were on some weird rear boarding plane. :o

3. That is odd
Maybe Libby was visiting some one in the front end before taking her seat in the rear?

5. Something was weird about that whole conversation
When he asked her if he had seen her somewhere before, her reaction was unusual to say the least.

I'm wondering if she's connected to the island/Others somehow -- or if she's going to end up playing some sort of role in someone's back story.

I had never even thought about the weird seating aspect, however.

7. Ooooh, oooh I know!
She's a therapist or whatever right? Well Hurley was in a mental institution and we don't really know why. :tinfoilhat:

9. I never even thought of that
I've been wondering/hoping that Hurley's time in the institution will come up at some point -- but it hasn't.

And I just sort of dismissed the fact that Libby was a therapist. Very interesting...

20. I don't think she's a therapist. I think she was a patient.
She's a compulsive liar. She probably made up a story about Hurley stepping on her foot, so that he'd be distracted from remembering her from the mental institution.

23. Just a hunch. {also some spoiler sites say so}

It seems like her stories don't match up and that she does know Hurley from somewhere. If she was a therapist, why would she care that he recognized her?

I'm pretty sure she was a patient, but - again - it's only a theory.

25. Ah ha
I do kind of believe she was a therapist, but maybe she was a patient too.

Hopefully we'll find out soon, but knowing Lost we'll find out, like, 8 years from now. x(

01/25 - Q. Is it possible that Lost's Libby is not a doctor, but a ********** ****? Ausiello: That's what I'm hearing, yes.

Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide {Note: We do not know for sure what was *** out, but most LOST fans believe it's "compulsive liar" some think it's "television star." On February 1, Ausiello gave a hint: *******i** ****.}

The other two seem to blend in well and don't stand out. Though I expect Hurley to start hitting Libbey soon.

4. Anna Lucia

is annoying.

Kristin of E -TV said in her chat when someone asked her about Anna Lucia, that the actress doesn't exactly have the best job security right now.

I hope the "other's" get her personally. Or the monster. I am so nice.}(

6. Eco may be my favorite character now
I will admit that I don't like Ana-Lucia. (Does anybody???)

And something about Libby intruiges me for some reason. I think there's a lot more to her character than meets the eye.

And the only other tailie is Bernard. What are he and Rose up to?

11. Ana-Lucia is probably going to be killed off pretty soon.
The only thing that would be more gratifying would be if they killed off Sawyer.

13. I've kind of taken to Sawyer
He annoyed the hell out of me in the first season, but I kind of like him now.

I kind of have the feeling though, that they're going to get rid of him soon just because he's so popular.

I realize that that's sort of non-intuitive for a TV show -- but what is intuitive about Lost???

8. Mr Eko only
I find him fascinating. His backstory was great, too. His brother ending up on the island says something. They are not as close to the US as they first thought. There is no way a plane from Nigeria ended up in the South Pacific.

10. We don't know where they were going, though
And maybe they stopped somewhere to refuel before moving onwards.

Although, the island does seem to have some sort of Bermuda Triangle thing going on what with all the various planes/boats/etc. that have ended up there.

12. They were flying from Australia to Los Angeles
I know they went off course, though. So, it may be possible that they took a left instead of a right to get to the US. HA-HA

14. No, I meant the Nigerians
We know they were flying out of Nigeria, but I don't think it was ever specified where they were taking the heroin to.

Which meant that they could have flown to India, let's say. Refueled there and then took off for Malaysia or somewhere. Got blown off course -- and ended up in the South Pacific.

16. Sorry
I thought you meant the LOST people. Thanks for clarifying. The plane is a little small to be caught all the way out there.

God, I love this show. Look at all the questions we ask about a TV show. It makes you think every week (when there isn't another repeat).

15. I don't "like" Ana Lucia
but I don't think the character is meant to be likable (at least so far). I do think she's interesting. Jack sure seems to like her. There may be a triangle forming there with Kate.

22. Jack looked odd when he first heard Ana Lucia's name from Eko...
It's not a common name, of course, and Jack sort of started when he heard it - as if he knew the name. Maybe I should hop over to and see if there's anything about it there...

24. She was in a flashback last year.
He met her just before the flight and they either had drinks or planned to have drinks in LA.

When he heard her name, he remembered her and, unlike the audience, was glad she didn't die.

17. I'm losing interest in Lost.
Between all of the gaps in broadcasts and the addition of the tail end group, I must admit that I am getting bored. The first season was so amazing, but I think the episodes are becoming a bit formulaic. It's too soon for the show to lose steam.

19. Bernard and Eko are good. The rest should die mysteriously.
Libby is probably one of Hurley's former asylum mates.

Ana-lucia is a one-note actress - even her happy face looks angry.

But Bernard is a sweet character. I think he and Rose and great. Eko has a compelling story, too.

Frankly, I'm not impressed with the main section back stories so far either. Kate is booooooooring. Charlie is insufferable in flash backs. Where are the Lock flashbacks? And can we have too much Hurley?
