Need help
My brother is here for the holidays and we got talking about weird stuff.

He brought up a story he had heard about a lady casher at a gas station who was approached by a man in period clothing paying for his gas with really old money. That it really wasn't possible for someone to still have money like that and being dressed the way he was. There wasn't much to the story from my brother but I told him that it is probably an urban legend. I've done some searches on google and haven't come up with anything like this. Sooo....

Has anyone heard of this story before?

Thanks

1. haven't heard of it as an urban legend, but could be.. or
maybe he works at a historical park (eg Colonial Williamsburg), or was going to some sort of 'festival' - and for the event had some old currency (eg we have a few pieces of currency including an old dollar from the chicago world's fair - eg over 100 years old) - didn't have any other money (as in ... oops!) and had to use it?

2. No it wasn't at a place like that
but apparently he had a whole wad of this kind of money. I'm not sure of the history of money, but he describe that we've had silver cert, and gold etc, it was the kind before they stuff we have now.

3. here's another one.
This really floored us.
was my other brother told a story of going to Bimini with a bunch of friends...long story short, they ran into a woman from Canada who used these divining rods to communicate with UFO's/aliens. He wasn't believing her at all. They had gone out on the ocean about 35 miles to where this lady said that she was to be picked up. Nothing happened of course. But the next day near dusk while my brother was making dinner for everyone, one of his friends started screaming (she had seen something) and ran out towards the dock. They all saw it. He said that two objects fairly small came from either direction on the horizon and then just hovered there. Three more showed up and then they all went off in different directions. They all when back into the house to discuss what they saw and they all described the same objects. Orbs like liquid mercury, he said that it kind of warp the sky where that were at, and they had no running lights, about a hundred yards from them. What was the strangest thing was that the lady was completely quiet about it and didn't talk at all about what they had all seen. The next morning she was gone.
