In the beginning, I mostly listened, and asked the occasional question, and some of them were pretty reasonable, like giving Al Gore credit for his excellent MoveOn speech. It seems as if the more things go their way, the angrier and more unreasonable that they get. My last memorable experience there was during the "swift boating" of then-candidate Kerry. I just couldn't let these lies stand, and actually tried to set the record straight, idiot that I was. But I was armed with the facts, which always helps there, and everyone backed down except this one rabid guy who insisted I knew nothing because I hadn't read John O'Neill's book. That's when I signed off, for good. He reminded me too much of my mother, who insists that I know nothing because I don't watch "the news," like she does, Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity. :eyes: I don't need FR, since I come from a family of Freepers, and am currently avoiding them both.:-(
