Hey, guys, I'm back from my vacation. It was fun, except for being away from DU. I went to Texas to visit my parents first.
My next stop was visiting friends in NYC. On the plane flying out, who sits behind me but Bush ass-kisser extraordinaire Ted Nugent. I pointed him out to my mother, who didn't know who he was. I told her he was a musician, so she said I should get his autograph, but I told her I wouldn't because he's a huge RWer, even by their standards.
Anyway, I landed in NYC and spent a few days there. It was the most fun I had since the last time I was there, which is one reason I'm moving there in six months or so. My friends and I chilled out, got drunk, etc., which is really all I'm going for. ;)
I wanted to check out some jazz performances in NYC and found out Lou Donaldson (jazz fans know him) was playing at a certain club, but unfortunately, he had to cancel his appearance.
Still, I'll be a hell of a lot happier when I move there and away from this godawful job I have to go back to tomorrow.
But it's good to be back on DU. :hi:
