7. We have a part-time loaner dog.
I've had a German Shepherd since 1964.
Hilda, Beau, Studs, Max, Gypsie, and Nasha.
Nasha departed our lives a year ago.
Now we have a part time dog.

Her name is Lucy and she lives next door.
She is a squat beagle-like black-tan-white mutt with long floppy ears and a docked tail.
She goes with us on our 3 mile walk every morning and runs in the street and cars come screeching to a halt and drivers scream at us "PUT HER ON A LEASH" and we shout "SHE'S NOT OUR DOG!".
I'm going to have T shirts made.
"She's Not Our Dog"

She has decided that she's now responsible for guarding two houses.
When friends drop by, we know they're hear before the bell rings by Lucy's yip-yapping.
Good girl, Lucy.
Thanks for protecting us.

The couple she lives with travel a lot and we look after Lucy while they're away.
I think a part-time loaner dog may be the best deal.
;-)

Enjoyed you post, very much.
Thanks.

8. Welcome. I've always adored dogs.
My pet dogs have helped me through some rough times. They give me joy and happiness in a way that nothing else can. It's hard to explain, but having a loving dog in one's life is so beautiful and unique.
