See people that's exactly like what some DU members do on here when someone mentions the word nascar, link it to rednecks, Red states, christianity and below them. If you believe every nascar fan is like that your as stupid as you claim they are.

I went to a John Kerry Meetup during the presidential election in 2004 and there was a clique of people there who just snubbed the heck out of anyone who wasn't college education or worked a white collar job, ignoring everyone else there. Guess what happen half the people said fuck it got up and walked out, I'm sure this happens a whole heck of alot. Why would John Doe who works a 50 hour a week blue collar job and then goes to try to make a difference in this country by being political active during his spare time want to spend it around a bunch of people who snub him for what he finds as entertaining? Especially when that entertainment doesn't hurt or effect anyone in a negative light, what's the point whinning about it?

NASCAR or country music; but I think that what sticks in my craw about people like that is their ANTI-elitism. If you think about it, anti-elitism is just another form of elitism.
