Should the U.S. Senate confirm Judge Alito's nomination to the Supreme Court?

on far left, half way down the page

GD has lent a hand and turned it from 85% confirm to 79%

From another story on their homepage that I couldn't resist.

I voted in the poll, too. 79% Yes, 20% No.

4. Thanks for your help
Thinking with Conrad Burns neck deep in Abramoff trouble in an election year & Brian Schweitzer enjoying great support as our governor, we are suddenly getting attention from neocon spin-miesters and the freepers. Polls in the Billings paper are usually not real lopsided.

Last week we noticed a poll on the NSA spy issue went pro-junta fast. Stated out OK, went along about as expected then suddenly, everybody wanted to be spied upon! :wtf: Sorry, in Montana, there is a bit of paranoia about government anyway. Hard to swallow a 30+% change in the NSA poll in a day! Definite sign of outside help.

While I generally don't like outside influence on local polls, the wingers have invaded, so we fight fire with fire.

Thanks to those who take the time to visit the site. The Gazette usually has some amusing stuff anyway... like last week's reports of 2 snowmobilers killed. Seems some were doing that High Marking stuff they swear they don't do... and those machines which are SOO much quieter now, causes some avalanches. :eyes: (Do they not teach ANY science in schools anymore?)

Ski drunk is an interesting report too ;) Hoping for a Ski Naked report soon! Hey, it's been warm here ;)
