One of the guys in the office was all upset today because some
Republican decided to hang himself.

"Did he succeed?" I asked.

"Huh?" he said staring off into space.

"Did the guy buy the farm?" I said more slowly.

He looked at me for a moment as if he were weighing whether or
not to reprimand me for my callousness. Finally he said, "Yes,
he's dead."

"Well, I said getting up, "that's the first time I ever heard of
a well-hung Republican."
