Poll question: Where's the best place to meet someone?
Not a pre-arranged thing. Just where would you more likely find somebody special? :D

1. Ummmm... I'd guess B&N.
Some people get allergic reactions to the used books...

2. Laundromat
People come over and ask what your sign is while you're folding underwear.

3. I prefer half price bookstore, myself
Edited on Thu Dec-29-05 07:07 PM by Ariana Celeste
And my mom was delighted to find that out when I was in my teens- the fact that I was excited about used items- :o

So many more books for such a lower price, and I love being able to bring in all of my books that I'm done with. :loveya:

Of course I wouldn't meet anyone special there... too interested in which books I'm buying this time... ;)

5. I say B&N, not because I don't prefer used bookstores-
I do. I used to work in a B&N. There's an understanding there that you can sprawl about on the floor. There's more opportunity for physical contact.

I can just see it now; you trip over some beautiful man in the aisle. He's reading a Robert Rodi novel and chuckling. You're in this tangle on the floor and he helps you up gently, brushes off your back, and gives you his profoundest apologies. He smells nice. And then he wants to make it up to by buying you a cup of coffee.

6. Or you spill his coffee, and he runs duck-like to the men's room screaming

You know, either or; he'll still remember the encounter.

8. You spill his coffee, and
lovingly pat down the stains with a handful of napkins. You say, "I do a wonderful imitation of a klutz sometimes. You smell really great. This should never have happened to you."

Sometimes when you quite looking, you find what you're looking for.

11. Just get a part time job driving Taxi
you'll meet TONS of people. Gay, straight, "other" it's all there!

Believe me, I'm nothing special, and I got hit on all the time--oh wait, you said somebody special--and not just somebody...well, there's always a chance!
