3. I would not eat ivy, however, my mare eats whole oats and I've tried them!
Tasty! I try (a little bit) of all of her food: whole oats, flax seed, Timothy Hay, Coastal Bermuda Hay, soaked beet pulp and Grow'nWin (feed with vitamins and mineral for horses fed on bermuda grass.)

I hate English Ivy. It is an invasive plant here in the Southeast.

Mares eat oats
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Jump to: navigation, search

"Mares Eat Oats" is a nursery rhyme.

Lyrics

Mares Eat Oats Words and Music by Milton Drake, Al Hoffman and Jerry Livingston. This song was produced in Al Trace's 1944 record.

Mares-eat oats and does eat oats,
And little lambs eat ivy,
A kid will eat ivy too,
Wouldn't you?

Sung quicky, it sounds like this:

Maresy-doats and dozy-doats,
And liddle lamzy divey,
A kiddley divey too,
Wouldn't you-oo?

21. I had ivy growing on my chain link fence
because it made it so much more attractive. I caught some damn neighborhood kid tearing it off, so I hollered at him to stop. He had the gaul to say "Nah...You don't want that stuff growing on there!"

Deranged punk.
