As the "war on christmas" winds down for another year, I have to ponder--who is the bigger idiot, (a possible follow-up would be who is the bigger asshole).

Here's my upset pick for the week: Bill O'Reilly will start fighting against the "War on Lincoln's Birthday" (now consolidated into the more general "Presidents Day") because Lincoln as a Republican must be obliterated by the "MainStream Media."

my foot! They are both morans and assholes. Thanks for the rant space BTW....this stuff reminds me of the Swift-boaters and the 'gay marriage' issue none of which came from our side . I think it is deliberately concocted by people like Rove sitting around in think-tanks making up lies. Then they are fed to Bill O'Liely and the rest of the RW talking-pointers. They have their own media, and have taken over the mainstream, too. Remember how, during the campaign, they would decry gay marriage saying that it would entitle people to marry more than one person, their family members, (esp their children) and perhaps even their dog. These arguments carried a lot of weight. Kinda like the concept of unisex bathrooms scared people shit-less when we tried to ratify the equal rights amendment...oh women will have to use the same bathrooms as men...there will be no protection. Anyhow now they are trying to justify the spy-tapping without warrents... and we might say what about PETA, what about Tree-hugging groups, what about a band of merry peace-nics having a little meeting in someones home, what if they were labeled domestic terrorists? Well, you can believe 'they' are going to work to poo-poo that stuff right away. They'll be saying oh, that's just hypothetical argument, don't get your shorts in a wad, it hasn't happened, why belabor a mythical conjecture? I'd say for the same reason I could possibly marry my cat or that women might be sent into combat if we had equal rights.

4. Definitely O'reichly is the bigger asshole.

Gibson tries hard, but when you're on the same network with O'reichly, Hannity, Shit Hume, Bill "PNAC" Kristol, Neil Cavuto, and Rupert Murdoch himself, that's a lot of asshole competition.
