Does anyone have a Roomba? Which model
do you have?

I'm contemplating getting one, and I don't know which model would be right for my house.

1. I got one for a steal a few days ago..the red robot.
Home Depot online had them for around $80.

It works really well but I have miles of hardwood and cat hair.

Just charge it up and let it do its thing. No more dust bunnies in corners.

It fits under the endges of my sofas and chairs, too.
I love the thing.

The red one, that's the one with the buttons that you can tell it if the room is large, medium, or small?

And $80 is about the cheapest I've ever seen for any Roomba. Good score!

8. Yeah. I was worried that the deal wouldn't go through..but it arrived.
Mine has the virtual wall thing, but it doesn't return to its recharger on its own.

Still..it's pretty cool. I recommend it.

5. Just got one for Christmas...
Two big dogs worth of hair everyday. Now it is swept up before I get home from work.

The dogs are not sure about the thing though. They watch it carefully to make sure it doesn't eat any of their food.

I don't know which model it is, but I have the virtual walls and it goes back to the charger on it's own.

6. Popular Science this month had an article on them
apparently the latest model has an i/o port that allows you to program it. They used it as a base to carry around a wireless digital camera, kind of a roving security robot. Wont be long before someone builds a "robot deathmatch" version.

7. Yes, you can buy a seperate scheduler
so that it will know to do the Kitchen on Monday, the living room on Tuesday, etc.. It's a very neat function.
