1. Awesome!

Barry White sings Wierd Al Yankovic's Blue Christmas as Elvis.

Love it!

5. Sorry honey, I didn't bring any protection.

But as long as I'm not kissing you on the lips, I don't think we'll be in any danger.

Edited on Thu Dec-22-05 01:17 AM by Dangerously Amused

Kissing you under the mistletoe is still okay.

Um, are your pants still 75% off?

(OMG, a really bad (meant to be funny) Elvis impersonator just came on "Acapella Always" radio singing Blue Christmas. No lie!)

13. Yes they are, but I'll go to 100 for you
Am I just happy to see yo, or is that a really big bunch o' mistletoe? :D

Male equivalent to the 'cameltoe'?

Why do you need any more bad Elvis impersonators, baby, when you've got me? :P

19. Alex, I'll take Forrest at 100.

I think you're thinking of "mistertoe." It's a common mistake.

Yes. You are a bad Elvis impersonator. Verrrrry bad. Come here for your spanking, bad Elvis.

4. Yeah, funny for YOU, you, you...
Actually...I kinda like the voice like that. Aches and pains, dizziness, fever, and the general feeling that I'm going to die aside (in other words, I'm in pretty similar condition now to Keith Richards on a good day. :-)

Thanks, dude...

Very nice voice, my dear ForrestGump!

I was smiling and chuckling all the way through....

Thank you so much....and get better, OK?

:loveya:

And may I look forward to more such recordings?

8. Sexy? I'm dying!
:P

I don't know what an octave is, but I think I dropped one in the last two days. Dropped something, anyway. :-)

Thanks, Ms Peggy -- I'm hoping I'l break on through to the other side after this one night of sheer ickiness and fever. And maybe no 'flu Chri'mas, after all.

Yep, I'll record something real when I finally get my voice back. Soon, I hope! I think I'm actually a baritone. Or soprano. Or something -- depends on how tight my pants are.

10. Oh thank you, my dear Forrest, for the much-needed laugh!
You sound like a baritone to my ears....

And *um* darling, the stuff you were supposed to drop, should have happened a very LONG time ago! Otherwise, you are in trouble......

Really, you sounded great...didn't sound as though you are dying or anything like that....

Please more recordings! Have you gotten anything out on CD? You should, I think....

Nice guitar work, too....

:loveya:

14. Ah, but I cheated on the guitar
Not me. :-)

As for dropping things...I think I lost 'em...

Feel like I've been hit by a really vindictive bus... :-(

Don't usually get this way and I have to say that it's suboptimal.

Hold ona second...I'll see if I can re-upload a song or two from the other week -- I still had this cold (but not bad -- my voice at probably 80% or normal range, or a bit less) and the microphone and my use of it wasn't great, but it gets the point across, a bit.

Be right back...

17. A fair bit closer to normal:
Lawdy, Miss Clawdy (live '70s version)

You Gave Me A Mountain (a song Elvis did live 1972-77)

Little Sister/Get Back (as recorded by Elvis just once live in Vegas, 8/70)

Long Black Limousine (1969 Memphis studio sessions...Elvis was coming down with a cold!)

9. ROFLOL!
 OMG, that was a scream! (well, for me - probably not so much for you).
The absolute best part was the cough & "excuse me." :7

BTW, I sang along at the end - about 1 octave above yours. It still squeaked. (my voice, dammit, my voice!)

12. Just ONE octave above me? If my voice was any deeper, I'd have to be
packing in my shorts genital hardware normally only seen on victims of elephantiasis. :o

As for the "excuse me," mama always told me to be polite. :D

15. Honey, I'm an alto.
I always sing low. But usually not this low.
(I just checked it on the piano - B-flat one octave below middle C!)

Sounds like you have swollen glands... and I don't know if your genitals are involved or not. ;)

27. I had to listen to it twice so I could laugh again at the cough &
"excuse me". You didn't miss a beat.

Hey, Forrest, how'd things come out with the brussels sprouts?
