Official Redskins-Dolphins thread
Started by a die-hard Cowboys fan. Wooo former Dallas Cowboy James McKnight with an 80 yard TD less than two minutes into the game!

7. the redskins force a ton of turnovers
but they don't seem to get points off of turnovers

case in point: dallas and carolina - they forced four turnovers in each game and still lost...

25. They don't have a good QB
plus too many years finishing in the middle of the pack. They would have been better off just cratering for a few years and then rebuild.

30. agreed on the QB
but they have the skill to be super bowl contenders, but the defense doesn't show up sometimes and the OL has been abysmal this year.

41. WHY ON EARTH WOULD I BE MAKING THIS UP?
Edited on Sun Nov-23-03 10:29 PM by Neo Progressive
Fine since you are high and refuse to accept something I checked out thoroughly I'll link you to several sites.

First, USA Today's 1999 football schedule:
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/sfn/sfnsc.htm

Go to week 12, see which games are listed on November 25, 1999
Oh it's dallas vs. miami with the only other game on that day being Detroit vs. Chicago. No, wait, there must be other days when ONLY THE COWBOYS AND DETROIT ARE THE HOME TEAM

Now if you believe USA Today must have screwed up...
http://www.dallascowboys.com/history_our3.cfm?art=1999

there is the score and the date

36. Yes, that was a good one
Miami pulled out an upset in the snow at Dallas. At the end of the game, Leon Lipp (Lett?) mishandles missed Miami FG attempt(?) and Miami re-kicks for the win. ?

He posts "remember the last time they played on thanksgiving"

your reply said "yes it was a good game" and talk about leon lett screwing up and the upset in the snow

so lemme get this straight, you post that you remember the last time they played on thanksgiving which "was" the game where Leon Lett screwed up. Explain to me why I'm wrong in correcting you when your post had no indication to the contrary?

44. I just said it was a good game?
You're coming on a bit strong here, can't I stroll down memory lane with a fellow Dolpfan without getting harassed?

You stated "you post that you remember the last time they played on thanksgiving."

I NEVER "posted" this! Ugh. If your simply implying this you should say it. It is not fair for you to throw every quote at me and accuse me of agreeing with the quote just because I failed to provide a contrary indication. You're trying to prove a negative! Anybody can prove a negative because it is an incredibly low bar.

I just wanted to talk about an old game!! Eeeewwwww!! <g>
