What song(s) can you karaoke with great skill?......
I do a pretty solid version of the Skynyrd classic "Tuesday's Gone." I am pretty good at the Third Eye Blind 90's hit: "Semi-Charmed Life" as I am quite tone deaf, much like their lead singer.

However, I think the song in that I karaoke the best (which isn't all that good, trust me) is "Cumbersome" by Seven Mary Three. I'm not that bad at it.

1. Never done actual karaoke, but
I'm recording a bunch of Elvis songs with karaoke-type backing tracks.

Also can handle some Johnny Cash, Tom Jones, Jim Morrison (but not the screams...not yet, anyway, 'cos they don't seem to come naturally to me), Roy Orbison (though some of his highs are a stretch for my natural range and I can't do the "rowwwwr" in "Pretty Woman," dammit), and a few others.

6. Roy Orbison had a fairly good voice
(understatement of the year)

But it's always worth a try or two. :-)

5. The song I was known for in one bar
was "Can't Help Falling In Love." One night I took a shot at "Blue Moon" (the Marcels' version) and when I got to the high note ("...the moon had turned to gold") my voice broke. All I could do was laugh.

Did "Mack the Knife" one night. That one's fun because you can go all lounge-lizard with it, with the "heys" and the "yeahs."

12. None, but that doesn't stop me.
I think the most recent attempt involved lots of whiskey shots and a Guns N Roses song. (They tend to go hand in hand, eh?)
I've also done "Beast of Burden" and provided backup to my friend's rendition of "Black Dog."

Again, with no skill whatsoever, but with lots of drunken jumping around like a rock star. I'm sure I annoyed the ever loving shit out of everyone there. :D

16. My daughter and her friend used to do an asskicking version of
Meatloaf's, Paradise By the Dashboard Light, and they won several karaoke contests with it, trophy and all. When my daughter got married, her friends insisted that she and her singing partner (not the groom) perform it for the guests. Of course she had on this gorgeous wedding gown, and he wore a tux, and that fit right into the lyrics of the song. It was a riot and brought down the house.

31. Five Year Winter by Zao
Personal experience helped me hate certain people enough to scream like that about them.

Memorable lyric:

"this time i put them in the ground, with my memories and my feelings"

or perhaps:

"i wish you'd say you hate me, that would make things so much easier."
