(on edit: DOH! sirius, not xm!)

mrs. unblock wants it solely for howard stern.

as far as that goes, i can take it or leave it, mostly leave it. stern is funny, sometimes hilarious, for a few months but to me it gets old quickly.

anyway, there is other stuff on xm radio, including some liberal radio apparently. is any of it (or the music) any good?
worth the price of admission?
how's the service?
how's the reception?
any problems?

tia

1. Well, considering that he's going to be on Sirius
Then, no, XM radio isn't your best bet.

I have no idea what other stuff is on Sirius. I think Martha Stewart has a channel.

2. XM doesn't carry Howard Stern.
Try Sirius.

3. Hi, Unblock -- Howard's on Sirius.
:hi:

I have XM - it is terrific. The music is fantastic - there's at least two stations for any genre you can name. Most have 4-5 stations. Great stuff.

Ummm, Stern is going to Sirius, not XM...
Air America is on XM. :-) One (I think XM) is slightly more expensive than the other. We've been tossing the same idea around, but are not sure which we'd want to get, XM or Sirius. I just can't rationalize paying for radio right now, you know? DH is working on me, though. LOL.

6. They are the same price
XM and Sirius cost $12.95 per month. I have XM and love it. Plus, it has AAR. You can't get that on Sirius. I haven't listened to Howard Stern in a very long time. I hated his show on E!, but my husband insists on seeing blobs over women's boobs.

7. i think it's hilarious that, for all its male appeal,
it's mrs. unblock who's the big stern fan, not me.

5. XM=Air America 167, 22-mix, 165-Big Ed, NASCAR, Baseball
Worth every penny. Bought it and stopped listening to FM. Great music, lots of live music, even movie music, news from everywhere. Screw Sinus radidio.
