1. Go to traffic school
I got a ticket, went to school and there was no raise in my insurance. Now if you have an accident. Forget about it. Your rates will go up!

2. I have heard you can show up early
to court and try and negotiate them down.

3. I had three in the past year and STILL get the safe driver discount
I guess my insurance company doesn't check after you get to be an old geezer like me (42 y/o). The last time I got the ticket I went down to pay the fine. The clerk at the court asked if I wanted to go to traffic school. I told her "No, I am an excellent driver. I just enjoy driving fast".

4. Just don't try to change companies. They only check when you
"qualify" for a new policy.
It's all just a scam to pick your pockets.

5. I got two within a month last year and my rates stayed the same.
State Farm is still giving me the safe driver discount.
