2. The photos don't do it justice.
All the way up and all the way back down it was just beautiful.
It was pretty hard to decide which of my 180 pictures to put up. I'll be doing this hike a lot this winter. Every weekend if possible.

3. Looks like it was a great day
My folks live over in that neck of the woods and I'm considering climbing Monadnock one of the days I'm home for the holidays.

Which trail did you go up and what where the conditions like? Did you need crampons?

4. It was a great day.
I went up White Arrow trail. I didn't need crampons but there were a couple of spots that I could've used them. I saw other hikers with them. There wasn't that much ice or snow above treeline. The trail had been traveled too so I didn't need snow shoes either.

Have you climb it before? Which trails?

5. Yeah, I've climbed it a number of times.

I grew up over in that area. I usually go up White Dot/White Cross, though I sometimes go up the back side. I forget the trail name (Old Carriage road maybe?) I'll have to dig out my maps.

On Edit: Ain't google great? It's the Old Halfway House/White Arrow Trail that I also use. Same one you climbed I take it.

6. Yes you got it.
That's the trail. I like to climb the middle trails too. Lost Farm & Cliff Walk. I haven't climbed the north side at all mostly because I don't know where to park.
