Santa Finds Foul Mouthed Little Girl From Baltimore

(Oh no not another Christmas story)
Yes it is. Sigh.

Santa finds her visiting a family living in a cement block house snuggled up against the outskirts of the Francis Marion National Forest north of Charleston, South Carolina and south of Georgetown. Buck Hall to be exact.

Don and his wife bring her to this Christmas gathering in this remote location. She is six years old. She is a waif, a will-o-the-wisp traveling through a society that cares little for waifs. She is a child loaned out to Don and his wife. She has brought with her a raggedy old stuffed doll.

My wife asks the little girl what Santa is going to bring her for Christmas. Little girl says; "Santa never find me in Baltimore and he damned sure ain't gonna find me here."

Christmas comes and our little waif is showered with Christmas presents. She is a very happy little girl. The time comes for her return to Baltimore. As the little girl is leaving the house my wife reminds her she is forgetting her raggedy doll. Little girl replies; "I don't need that piece a shit old doll no more. Santa done bring me a new one."
