Poll question: Which is your favorite imported beer?
This is one of the most important polls you will ever take, and it's also my first EVER poll, so I'm very nervous.

Which do you prefer?

St. James' Gate in Dublin with a sign that says "Will drink Guiness for pleasure."

Had a couple of draughts just last night. Creamy and delicious! And watching the nitrogen precipitate is like a lava lamp you can drink!

Although their Canned Draft is better than the bottles. And Real Draft is better than the cans. And I'm sure the Draft in Ireland beats them all.

I'm also fond of the wondrous products of Unibroue. But they sometimes don't withstand the long trip from Texas to Quebec.

58. Real Czech beer

Most brews from the Czech republic have been "Millerized"

Pivovar Herold produces a full assortment of classic Pilsner-style lagered beers, all of which exhibit excellent color, a full head and full-bodied, with well-balanced, flavors. Herold beers are neither too bitter nor too sweet and appeal to a broad range of tastes. All of our beers are produced using traditional technology, the finest Czech hops and malts, and superior spring water that is drawn from the grounds of the Březnice castle connected to the brewery. The result is the best example of classic Czech lagers, and unlike some big breweries, we still do it by hand using classic brewing tradition.

62. La Fin du Monde from Canada
In February 1994, after 18 months of research, Unibroue launched La Fin du Monde (the end of the world). It is a 9 percent alcohol, triple fermentation beer. This type of beer was originally developed by the monks of the Middle Ages to be served on special occasions. La Fin du Monde is a deluxe beer made by triple fermentation and a unique way of straining the yeast. This method produces an unexpectedly subtle flavour. With its champagne-like effervescence, it has a vigourous presence in the mouth, which accentuates its strong personality. Slightly tart, with the balanced flavours of wild spices, malt and hops, it belongs to the class of great Trappist beers and, in this regard, is a North American first. At meals, it can replace white or red wines and enhances the flavour of most dishes.

This beer is brewed to honour of the great explorers, who believed they had reached the end of the world when they discovered America.
