1. MN Wild hockey was just on...
they played Philadelphia Flyers (another one of my favorite teams) and lost, 3-2.

What channel is curling on? :D

3. NBC. No cable, so I'm limited to the networks
I think it's the Olympic trials. They were also showing World Cup luge. I actually like it, better than golf. :-)

2. I love curling
It makes me cling to the hope that I might one day win a gold medal.

8. Honestly, either one.
I'm just happy to see an Olympic sport with little emphasis on body type, ability, or coordination.

As long as you can walk on ice and use a pushbroom...

5. That's not one of the more strenuous sports, is it?
It's right up my alley, actually. If I were to take up a sport.

6. Those sweepers really get into it.
Though it's on ice, so they probably don't break a sweat.

a while back. I woke up the next morning and could barely move, my muscles were so stiff! It is not the sport for people who haven't used all their muscles in some time. You are needing to balance and stay upright on ice...and that hurts...:hi:

10. Hmmm... I was thinking maybe I could just be the thrower then.
But I read the rules, and that stone is 44 lbs.??? I'll just sit in the stands and drink beer! :hi:

11. Being the thrower is what causes the pain...
You have to be on bended knee with your other leg extended out behind you, maintain your balance, and extend your arm forward...while gracefully (another ha) releasing the stone. I'll sit in the stands with you. :hi:
