****In the event of severe winter weather, turn to 10-11 for the latest information****
Now that's cold! Temperatures were well below zero this morning and we will not get into positive territory until around 10 am . Lows this morning ranged from -5 to -15 and highs today will stay in the single digits. Clouds will slowly increase this afternoon and mild air from Canada overrides the cold air currently in place over the state. This process may cause some flurries or light snow later today into tonight. Temperatures will slowly moderate this week with highs approaching 30 degrees by Saturday with lows in the teens and twenties. Warmer air from The Pacific Ocean will be carried our way by a few weak disturbances in the upper atmosphere this weekend. Thus expect a chance of a little light snow on Saturday and again on Monday.
