"Mr. Ripley" the cat has been adopted
At least that's what we named him in the interim.

Short version: Cat comes to our house, nudges large samoyed away from his dish and starts eating. Cat is emaciated, dog nonplussed.

We have one child, one dog and another child on the way. One cat would add catastrophe to the mix. So wife found a coworker who wanted a cat...

3. I know. We've got 2 kids, 3 cats, and a bunny.
Oh yeah, and some fish. They're not much trouble, though.

All the furry critters are indoor-only, so there is always a lot of activity around here.
