SHITE -- looks like the entire city of Biloxi just went black
:freak: I'm here in my femansion and the power just went out. (I'm on the battery of my laptop and dial up)

I am just a tad bit freaked out - everything is black - I know my neighborhood is dark and it looks like everything else is too.

SHITE - this is pretty spooky!

1. Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.
Does this help warm you up?

Rev, next time just the candle, I need the energies being spent on that image sent this way.

and battery power on this for a bit, but the entire city is black and none of my neighbors are here - gone for the weekend (only 2 nearby anyway).

Just a little unnerved, to say the least.

thanks for the candle

I don't know of a Days Inn in Biloxi that is inhabitable?

I have her number, but am sure she is in the same boat I am.

21. She is in the City of Gulfport.
I'm in Biloxi, the next town to the east.

I'm sure the power will come back on, I see D'Iberville's power is on.

The IP hotel has its own power grid/generators and they have power.

15. That's a nice prayer kittie, thanks.
I have no weapon or baseball bat, those were lost when the wind blew and the poopoo flew.

I do have a hammer somewhere. Oh well, what is that about cursing the darkness?

I think I will go make a drink. :freak:

10. I'll give 'em a call, but hey, what are they gonna be able to tell me?
I am sure they are aware of it - the whole friggin city is black. We don't have that many street lights working since the storm and it is blacker than it was before Katrina, but now it is pitch black all over.

I'll try not to let this spook me, I would feel much better if I had neighbors around.

thanks :hi:

The door is locked, the candle is burning and the hammer is close at hand.

If I could remember where I stored the crown, I would be set -- just hope it doesn't stay out too long, my battery won't last and it is rather chilly out.

Thanks for being there.

"felt" the love that was being sent out to you in the chaos. Many, many, many people were concerned about you, Maddie, Gildor, BossHog and our other family on the coast.

Hope you get power back soon. You guys have enough to worry about without dealing with that!
