What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?!? Me: Porcupine Tree
Edited on Wed Nov-23-05 01:05 PM by bbernardini
Me, I'm listening to one of three recordings I have of Porcupine Tree's October 1, 2005 concert at New York City's Town Hall. I probably wouldn't normally download all 3 sources, but I attended the show, so...

Okay, that's not really a good excuse, is it?

4. Would you believe Spank the Monkey?
While at work I have all of my music on random. At this moment, the tune Double Knuckle Shuffle; Spank the Monkey; Double Knuckle Shuffle by Kila off of the album Tog e Go Bog e is in rotation.

I wish I knew the story behind that song title - it's instrumental, so no help listening to any lyrics.

Heh, it just switched again - by chance it's a song off of the same album is playing: The Seige of Carrickfinn International Airport; Humphrey Goggles; Ard Na

So I'm strange - sue me!

The DVD even has a couple of new tracks on it, my favorite being "The Fun Machine Took A Shit And Died".

MUZAK piped in to the entire building. I actually heard a Led Zeppelin song played with an accordion. I want to start shooting out the speakers! It's even in the stairwells. Arrrggghhh!!!

Rant over. Carry on.

15. Your outlook is all wrong.
Just think of it as wry, clever commentary, and it will take on a whole new perspective.

(I'll never forget the times I heard the Grateful Dead and XTC in Denny's. Granted, it wasn't Muzak, but still...XTC in Denny's?)
