How do you greet your boss and why?
And do you treat your staff the same way? Why not?

Don't just stand there because it's your move - if you want something, either greet me with respect and ask, or don't greet me at all and just launch into your thing.

Because while I need a job and I like mine, it's good to know who people you work with are like.

That is all. :D

1. The tenured guy--"Hi Chief"
and usually, "Good morning!" to the other 2.

2. "Sorry I'm late..."
for obvious reasons.

Really, though, "Good morning" generally suffices for all my co-workers (unless I'm really, really late...then "good afternoon")

3. 'Sup or Wassup or some other funny thing
it's a very informal and laid back law firm and the boss is a very cool guy.

I love this place.

4. I actually have two "bosses"
To the new principal, whom I admire greatly, I usually say "good morning (or afternoon, etc.), how are you?"

To my department chair... usually just a "hello" and keep going. It is hard to forget that she gained this position in collusion with the former principal to stab my mentor in the back (which resulted in her retirement). I respect people who earn their position my merit and have contempt for those who are promoted via the "good ol' boy/girl method". But, hey, this is South Carolina, so it's inevitable.
