ipod questions

I have a few questions about the ipod. I've been avoiding getting one and all of a sudden I really, really want one. Anyway, my questions are:
1. Say I have some songs on my Itunes and some on my mom's, can I get both sets of songs on one playlist?

2. How long does it take to load about 500 songs onto the ipod?

1. Ipod answers

1) yes and no. You can do it but they are very faithful to a single computer. Download your mom's stuff to disk and upload to your own iTunes. NO prob, really.


2) Depends. It's actually fairly quick - either 8 times or 16 times the normal speed. Do the math or make yourself a cup of coffee - either way it gets done quickly.
