Someone with a calculator and/or a math god, help me out here:
I need the sum from k=0 to k=47 of k^2.

It's too much to do on paper, and I don't have anything with which to do it.

Can someone crank this out for me, please?

Thanks!

3. Do you have a calculator? Do this...
1 squared, M+
2 squared, M+
3 squared, M+

...

47 squared, M+

Then, hit MR.

You probably could have done it in your head if you had realized that you only needed to have k in <1,47> instead of <0,47>.

Edited: DU changed my text! Those were square brackets!

10. Yeah, you can't do square brackets
since square brackets are read as though they are the <> brackets of html.

And of course, k=0 can be skipped. Smart guy. :-)
