As things play out it seems that there is no such thing as being "Discovered" and people really coming out of nowhere.

Angelina Jolie is my latest example of this. I had been led to believe that she did the struggling actor thing (not really too long for obvious reasons) but now it is mention in a "Oh yeah" way that she is Jon Voight's daughter.

I run into this all the time. The most popular bloggers and such are no mystery people who just happened to find a place to express their incredible insights. Other examples abound.

I have NO IDEA who the fuck this girl is or what she's done to warrant even her D-list status, the only reason I even know her is because the ladies on Go Fug Yourself are always snarking on her questionable fashion choices. All I know is this girl will show up to the opening of an envelope, especially if there is a gift bag.
