3. We had a special election called to vote on several referendums
CA has a process by which it is relatively easy to bring a law or constititional amendment to the people to be voted on directly. In this case, most of the propositions were attempts by the conservatives to gain more power. Some were actually good, two would have made perscriptions less expensive (one far more so than the other, imho).

5. Yes, but the two prescription props
were SO confusing to most people. When in doubt, they voted no. I guess it is better than voting for something you don't really understand.

Others just took the stance that everything was pro-Arnold, so they voted no down the line.
