So there was a fire in my apartment building and I just spent....
an hour (about) sitting in my car with the commie and two very pissed off cats.

It got a little smokey in here, the kids' apartment that the fire was in is FUCKED..... pretty weird.... sitting at the computer and the fire person came and banged on my door and said "Leave now and remove all pets!"
The firefighters got my neighbor's two cats and his dog out, but he was at work when it happened

1. It's great that the firefighteres reminded people about pets.

They probably have seen people run back inside because they forgot the kitty.

2. She even offered to help the navy wife across the hall because she...
was alone and had two cats and one dog....

Her husband is floating around in the straits of hormuz (sp) because we're in an immoral war..... instead of being here to help with evacuation

3. Glad you all made it out okay.
That can be really scary. I lived in a highrise for 12 years and we had a couple of fires. Once, I had to get three cats, a cockatiel and my 76-year-old neighbor down the stairs... to this day, I have no idea how I did it.

4. You have a third arm that Fenris hasn't slipped up and told us about?

5. LOL
(I wish!)

I put the cats in two shoulder-carriers, my cockatiel in his little traveling box (very small), and the neighbor held my arm. :D
