So much for the petsmart parrot
It seemed to come across as sociable, but any attempt at interaction was met with extreme, blood-inducing violence. And I am well versed with parrots. I'm angry at anyone who allowed those birds to become psycho. They want to be with people but they scare people away with such ferocity... bipolar bird, hmmm...

I later stopped by a Petco and saw two 6 month old quakers showing obvious signs of anger as they were angrily pummelling toys AND the cage bars! It was DEPRESSING to witness. (being left alone does that to people... oops, birds...) When I came in they looked at me and then went back to their anger.

:grr:

And I thought all of those cable shows where they show monkeys being tested by keeping them isolated and such was bad enough.

1. I'm sorry for you.
I wish that there was some sort of police service to take care of those bird mills.

2. Thanks, but I fear the birds would want the sorrow more.

3. I'm sorry for them, as well.
It's really too bad that they're forced to live like that.

But I'm also sorry for you, because you have a big heart and have experienced something difficult.

I don't know much about birds. Is there any hope for a bird that has become aggressive? Can they be rehabilitated?
