We're going to our favorite restaurant--but we're going because it's closing. Stella is hanging up her apron after decades of feeding many, many happy people. We will probably order the house appetizer--flaming cheese!

Last night we celebrated the indictment. We had something nice a neighbor had shared with us.

The problem is that I've only been back on the ground for a little over an hours and both hips are killing me already!

I think I may be vegging out in bed this evening watching TV and doing something to kill the pain.

of labor into it. All those rocks around the edges were gathered by me from corn fields and placed by hand.

Let me tell you a funny little story: I know this married couple. ONce they were separated because of his work, for about 9 or 10 months. Finally he was going to have some time off, so she arranged to meet him someplace......They got a hotel room. Well of course, the first thing was ...you know. They were going at it, and the housekeeper knocked and came on in...The husband told me he didn't miss a beat...and the housekeeper didn't bat an eyelash....This was in Europe, where such activities aren't looked on the way we see them!

It makes for quite a picture, doesn't it?
