I noticed something weird about "scared straight" programs.
When people think of these, they think of the dynamic of the justice system exposing teenagers to prisoners in order to scare them.
Nobody ever really notices that in the process, the government sets up a program that gives free reign to a bunch of convicted felons to allow them to yell at a bunch of teenagers about how much they'd like to forcibly fuck them in the ass and all that. And that's just fucked up.
