1. Yay!!

The first three seasons were the best, IMO. With Gladys Cooper as Gladys Kravitz.

BTW: I see the movie is out on DVD now. I'm not sure I want to rent it.

... just like the one that Samantha and Darrin had. I really DO want to have Samantha's stove/oven combo. With the burner top that would pull out or slide away.

2. So do they leave in the episodes that show Samantha

drinking alcohol while pregnant? I always thought it silly they removed those from airing.

Potential buyers, beware: at Fred Meyer (in Oregon), they have COLOR versions of these episodes, which left me bothered and bewildered. If you're a purist, make sure to look for the clarification at the bottom of the cover. (I don't think they went color until the 3rd season or so, when Tabitha was a baby/toddler.)

6. I almost bought the colorized version by accident at Costco.

... but fortunately the colorized version also has a colorized photo on the front of the box (so it's pretty easy to spot). I searched high and low for the B/W version, but Costco wasn't selling it. :-(

So... their loss. I ordered it from Amazon... on sale... and even with shipping it was cheapear then Costco.

10. I loved Gladys Kravitz

I think a lot of the humor came from her weird reactions to events next door and her husband's concerns over her apparent mental illness. Alice Pearce won an Emmy Award for her work on that show.
