A look into the future...

Behold! For I have looked into the deeps of time, and seen who the Republicans will pick for their presidential candidate in 2008! Let us listen in on the introductory speech...

"...despite the slight misunderstandings surrounding the term of President Bush, our party has consistently stood behind him all the way. And so it is no surprise that our candidate for the Presidential race in 2008 shares many of his best qualities, and indeed surpasses any previous candidate when it comes to those qualities.

"For the candidate I will announce tonight has shown us that he is firm on his principles. Never will he compromise them for the sake of political convenience.

"He believes that a strong nation means a strong military, and has pledges to increase spending to modernize and expand our armed forces beyond any level seen before.

"He believes in a pro-active foreign policy, seeking to neutralize threats to the homeland before they become dangerous, regardless of the whims of other countries.

"He believes that artificial controls imposed on our businesses hinders the economy, and has pledged to make it legal for employers to improve their profits by reducing the minimum wage to zero, thus driving economic growth.

"He believes that no nation can stand under the burden of high taxes, and has pledged to lower taxes to unprecedented levels. The lost revenue can be made up by requiring all citizens to spend time performing manual labor on government projects.

"He believes in defending our national security, which is why he has pledged to found his Office of Republican Counterintelligence (ORC).

"Ladies and gentlemen, I give you our candidate for the upcoming Presidential race..." *Unveils poster...*
