http://puzzles.about.com/library/quiz/blsnob.htm

Your Snob-O-Meter score is 72%. Very snobby. You've got a superiority complex! You tend to judge others on a criteria you've developed over the years, and there aren't too many people who make the cut! There's just no subtle way to say this - you are a superficial, stuck-up, pompous snob. And you probably already know this, and don't really care. If the most important thing to you is someone's outer shell, then you'll never get below the surface to find their real worth. On the other hand, I'll bet you go far in this world and amass a lot of material wealth which ain't so bad. They say money doesn't buy happiness but it does buy freedom. And which would you rather be? A happy loser trapped in the daily grind or a miserable big-spender who must decide between a round of golf or a day on board a yacht sipping Dom Perignon?

I guess this proves I've got champagne taste on a beer budget.

1. 39% - Sorta Snobby

Your Snob-O-Meter score is 39%. Sorta snobby. You can be relaxed and accepting of those that don't fit your criteria for being "cool", but you also have the occasional bout of superiority. Perhaps there are certain things that matter more to you than others, or you just get in a snobby mood from time to time. Whatever the case, you should refrain from judging others on superficial qualities. Don't judge a book by its cover. You don't know what fabulous and fascinating people you might discount just because they're not wearing the right brand of socks. Of course, this semi-snob attitude might get you a better job with a bigger paycheck. Snobs tend to have more self-confidence which means they get to call the shots. Watch out for those bouts of humility which are the hallmarks of a loser and can spell disaster in this dog-eat-dog world.

but I am not sure why. Is Busch gardens snobbier than figure skating championships. I probably would not goto either. Would I complain if my Vichysoisse was served cold. I said no, but I do not believe I would ever order Vichysoisse.

What does humility have to do with being a loser. I think I became a loser because I could not get a good job or a girlfriend, and not having a good job or a girlfriend CREATES alot of humility, it is not caused by it. The chicken came before the rotten egg.

I can understand their reasoning. Smart guy, lots of money, but not really into glitz or fancy cheese (if that makes sense). I don't know who they chose to represent the other levels of snobbiness.

I can pretty much guarantee he doesn't shop at Walmart (unless he travels a long way), because there aren't any on the Eastside (of Seattle). ;)

What's snobby about knowing how to pronounce foreign words or knowing that a certain soup is served cold?

Snobby, to me, is refusing to associate with people because of their socio-economic status. Snobby is NOT knowing that Celene Dion is crap, LOL!

I got a 50%. My friends would be shocked, they'd rate me much lower on the snobbiness scale. I'll hang out with just about anyone who is fun and not hateful.

I consider myself to be more of a well-rounded able to get along with anyone type. I howled at the Celine Dion question. I thought virtually everyone knew any perceived talent on her part is a joke. ;)

Besides I may know that certain soup (I don't feel like looking up the spelling either) is served cold but that doesn't mean I'd order it over a good heaping helping of heart-burn inducing chili.

Your Snob-O-Meter score is 83%.

43. What the fuck is this? THe second question is crap.
Q: If there's an attendant in the bathroom, do you feel...

1. Irked (you'll be required to cough up a tip)
2. Embarrassed

Well, dumbass fuckstain quiz makers, what about the option called "I like it" or "none of the above"? Jackass Fuckwads.

44. Or this one:
Q: Do you know the difference between a fiddle and a violin?

1. Fiddles are American and violins come from Europe?
2. No, is there a difference?

What about the option "Yes, in fact, I do"?

Fuckstains.

65. Or how about this one...
Q: If you ordered Vichyssoise soup and it arrived cold, would you complain to the waiter?

You betcha
Of course not!

I don't complain about small things like this, and I don't know soups beyond the basic ones. So I chose the second one, a sign of humility, I would think, but not in this test.

74. That one IS a good question
Vichyssoise is a soup that is supposed to be served refrigerator cold, like gezpacho.

I'm glad that you would not complain out of a sign of humility, though - that's a good rule of life, I think, and, in this case, would have saved you a lot of embarassment.

46. 83% for me.
Your Snob-O-Meter score is 83%. Very snobby.Snob You've got a superiority complex!

Your Snob-O-Meter score is 67%. Sorta snobby. You can be relaxed and accepting of those that don't fit your criteria for being "cool", but you also have the occasional bout of superiority. Whatever the case, you should refrain from judging others on superficial qualities. Don't judge a book by its cover.
