Never a dull moment - nothing like an old time angry mob in the street!
Edited on Tue Oct-25-05 04:07 PM by HEyHEY
I just went to the post office, on the way I see there was a friendly group of people with baseball bats congregating in the middle of the street. It seems they had an issue with someone who'd apparently fled their grasp and was now hiding out in a local eatery, "He's in there, we should go get that fuck and fuck his fucking ass up," whimsically remarked one of the sophisticates holding a Louisville 38. Then from the front door of the restaurant a gentleman emerged and and queried, "Need bats and these guys eh Jen? Ya fucking slut!"
I looked to see the lads with weapons rearing up again and noticed a young mother in the midst of it with her toddler, I thought how can this woman watch such a spectacle with her child here. Then she answered the gent in the doorway, "Fuck you, call me a slut?"
And the mob then ran in the restaurant pursuing their agitator. A few seconds later they came out. It appears their prey had fled out the back when his attempt to woo the young mother had gone awry, sparking the mob's wish to arbitrate the situation on her behalf.
I went to the post office and dealt with the morons there.... when I came out the street was full of cops and they had everyone in custody.
Turns out this guy had robbed the CD shop and the guys from the adjacent tattoo parlour took issue with it.

AH, nothing like some lunchtime theater.
