Golf Course homes; has anyone ever heard of a study done on the toxicity
of living next to a golf course and potential cancer clusters?

I know that in basic golf course maintenance there are TONS of chemical pesticides and fertilizers used to maintain the weedless perfections... has anyone ever given thought to the impact on people living next door to all that festering toxicity?

We have some friends who bought a magnificent mansion overlooking a very grand golf course in the western area of Los Angeles. I swear I could feel the toxins wafting up the berm as I looked out over their $8 million dollar view, and I honestly worry that cancers and diseases are in their future if the wind and runoff is going in their direction. Of course I didn't say a word. It's an historic house that they've spent a couple million renovating... but I feel icky going there. It creeps me out, like there is a secret toxic soup no one is talking about.

Thoughts, opinions, conjecture?
