Yeah, I know. But growing up, my family was all in Illinois. It was the only place we ever traveled. I've just never had any overwhelming need to go.

Finally got my ass into gear this last weekend. Many things were painted, much housecleaning was done, and "espresso shortbread headstones" and "tempting toenail truffles" were prepared yesterday.

Today I set up the front porch. Finally trimmed some bushes that were blocking the front path, set up our little fountain with the skull and red food coloring.



Then I hung out our garlic garland and put our rubber rat and another skull. Looks great!
