Any other World of Warcraft players here?
If so, what's your main character's name, class, race, and server.

My main character is Alexieh the Tauren Druid on the Spirestone server.

Here she is normally.
And here's her cute-yet-scary bear form.

2. Well, I'm well acquainted with the game...
and with the "Leeroy Jenkins" video. :P

My friend is a lv. 60 Priest...he's so proud of himself--he got on a loot list for a raid the other night.

3. Ah, Leeroy Jenkins
I hear the video was responsible for a sudden increase in Horde players....

FOR THE HORDE!

4. The great thing about the Leeroy video was that it was funny
even if you DIDN'T play WoW. That same friend I mentioned was the one that showed it to me, and I laughed myself sick.

Incidentally, after that video, Leeroy's clan got about 1,000 applicants.

10. I've heard of the Leeroy video...
...but I haven't seen it. Is it still up?

(Not a player, but a former roomate of someone who was. :) )

My main is Clarissa a human warrior on Dragonblight.

I have 2 alts: Leland, a night elf druid on Boulderfist

Decadence, an undead warlock on Thunderlord

Love the game, but it's so addicting!

Fortunatly, I'm the master of multi-tasking. I can study for biology and kill things at the same time. XD

6. I used to play
I got extremely bored upon reaching level 60, though, which was months and months ago.

I had quite a few characters around level 40 - tauren druid and troll shaman on one server, a gnome warrior, and my 60 gnome rogue.

My troll shaman:

My gnome warrior:

My rogue at 58 before her eyepatch and broken bottle:

And here's my rogue at 60 in her awesome druid gear. I only had 4/8, but everyone loved the look regardless - it was just too damn cute.

13. I used to play. Wife still addicted. Mal'Ganis server. I had a 60 Night
Elf Rogue, she has a 60 Night Elf Druid and a 49 N.E. Hunter.

The game was pretty much played out for me shortly after hitting 60. I find going to raid the same dungeons over and over to chase epic loot to be tedious, almost as tedious as real life. Feels too much like work.

To get into "raids" for "epic loot" at the high level instances for level 60 (Onyxia Lair, Molten Core, and now Blackwing Lair) you pretty much have to belong to a megaguild full of 60's, since it generally requires about 40 level 60s for a raid. Then you have to deal with drama from the 16 year old nerds who often run these guilds.

The last guild we were in, half the players disbanded the guild overnight to form a new guild, without announcing anything to the remainder of players. Really classy. Wife is still in the new guild with those players, I wouldn't want to have anything to do with them.

Wife is still completely into this game, and is mad at me for being into DU instead of WoW.

20. Maybe we could get together and have an intervention.
My husband's an addict as well. He's playing as I type.

The only problem...I'm on DU as much as he's in WoW.

Fortunately, DU gives me something in the conversational realm to relate. These WoW folks can't really talk about their "other lives" without sounding like D and D college nerds.....

9. According to my wife, I'm an addict, not a player!
Aughur, Dwarven Priest on the Perenolde server! Ever since I learned Resurrection, my player has been in high demand :)

At the moment I'm actually just hunting rats for money...I bought a couple of high priced items in IronForge and am now flat broke :(

What did you get for Halloween?

17. My friend's son is really into WoW... he's four.
It was so funny - the kid's going into PvP areas, goes on raids, has led a few raids... and he's four!

19. I had a 28 Night Elf Druid and a 18 Tauren Warrior...
... then I got bored and cancelled my account. Actually, I think I became bored with WoW only after a month or so... maybe MMORPG's just arent for me. I was led to believe WoW was different but honestly, I didn't see a big difference between WoW and the rest... :(
